I got all excited when winter ended and the snow melted but just as I was about to do my happy dance the sky got dark and it snowed another 30cm. It was a record snowfall for April here in New Brunswick. I got depressed for about 15 minutes and eventually the snow did go.

I love the picture you added. The flower bed is gorgeous and looks like something that would fit into our yard.

We are only getting started as gardeners and have been trying to clean our yard of the awful shrub and bushes the previous owners had planted.

We had about the windiest winter I have ever seen and our yard is full of broken branches and twigs from about 30 different trees I think. It will take some cleaning up there.

This will be our first year composting. I am looking forward to using our kitchen and yard waste to make new soil. More fill for our yard and less in the landfill. That's what I like.
